"Whose heart the Lord opened..."
Acts 16:14

One of my favorite places in Hawaii. This was at the beach on K-Bay. How can you NOT find peace here?

Dear Lord,
My mind is filled with so much busy stuff; school, finals, children, grandchildren, husband, bills, the leaky roof, property taxes, Christmas, meals, sickness...I've allowed so much to cloud my mind and take my focus off of you! I know that everything I'm going through has a purpose, which is to draw me closer to You! My problem is that I've let the opposite happen. I've focused on everything else EXCEPT You and your precious son, Jesus!

Nothing is bigger than you. My burdens are small and inconsequential compared to your might and power! Lord I give it all to you. My life is yours and yours alone. Lord, please give me gentle nudges to remember to not take my eyes off You!

I love you Lord and I give you all the praise and all the glory, in your precious son, Jesus name; Amen!

In my quest to learn adoration. What a wonderful daily reminder of all Jesus gave for ME! Even if the world condemns me, Jesus loves me!

I stand amazed in the presence
Of Jesus the Nazarene,
And wonder how He could love me,
A sinner, condemned, unclean.
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
And my song shall ever be:
O how marvelous! O how wonderful!
Is my Savior's love for me!

My Peace

Let the world do what it will, I will place my peace in the hands of the Lord because he will never leave me nor forsake me.

My peace is deeper than any fleeting joy. My peace is in the Lord and firmer than any happiness I can gain by the worlds standard. My peace is planted firm in the knowledge that I am a child of God and that Jesus is my Savior.

This PEACE that I have...the world didn't give it and the world can't take it away.
